Program Overview

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Center for High-Risk Outreach joined with the Centers for Disease Control to create the Remembering When program. The program uses interactive, nostalgia-themed activities to teach older adults to lower their risk of fire and falls - the two leading causes of unintentional injury to seniors in the home. The package includes everything needed to conduct a comprehensive fire and fall prevention program for older adults. Program materials are available in English, Spanish and Russian.
